Vancouver Ron Paul Meet Up
This is the video that inspired me
to start this website: CanadiansForRonPaul.com I wanted to create a site where people in Canada can come to share information and hopefully gain more support for Ron Paul.
The people in the booth come across a guy from Texas who takes a flyer. Hopefully he will tell somebody back home and they will tell somebody, and Ron Paul's bid for the Whitehouse will grow exponentially.
.

It is refreshing to see politician who can put wellbeing of American people ahead of his own personal interests. He would serve well not only American people but perhaps reconcile Americans with the rest of the World.

How can Canadians help or donate to the Ron Paul campaign for the Republican nomination?
Reply to this
You can not legally donate to his campaign unless you are an Amercian citizen.
You could give a gift to friend however, if they were American and what they do with it is thier business.
However, our focus should be to try and get the message out to as many people as possible.
Hopefully some of this trickle back to the US or Americans here who can vote.

I'm telling everyone I can about Ron Paul. What an amazing character, he's honest, frank, and quite intelligent... incredible characteristics for a politician!!! Did I mention he's not afraid to speak the truth?

The more people we tell about Ron Paul the better. Its about educating people on the facts instead of the false choices they get from the mainstream media. If America prospers we in Canada prosper. If America goes to war then it is likley Canada will go to war. If America writes up more police state legislation, and so on. There may not be another Ron Paul for a long time. This is our chance for REAL change!

Another Great Art Gallery Outing.
Even before we were finished setting up we had Americans coming to ask us questions and to pickup some cool Ron Paul Gear. We have Buttons, literature, and some very cool Cards made by one of our members.
I was asking everyone who came up if they had heard of Ron Paul, and Most had. This appears to be increasing each week we have the Pavilion up.
We were asked similar questions as per usual- "Why are you guys doing this" and the "this is Canada"
Our position on this is "When the US troops come home, so will ours" and "When Ron Paul gets US out of the Patriot Act, and Nafta, Canada will follow suit!"
But those that said it were more than willing to stand around to debate points and listen to what Ron Paul's position is on many issues. We had pro- and anti abotionists come up, and when we explained Ron Pauls' position, everyone was satisfied that his position was the correct one, even if they were on the other side of the fence as it were.
It's tough to argue against the Feds getting out of ourlives, and today, no one did!
There were several other groups with their booths there as well. A group against animal violence as well as some 9/11 truthers. Both groups came up to talk to us and share ideas.
Perhaps the most encouraging/exciting part of the day is when people from the other booth told us that there were people who came to see their booths on other days, and were wondering where the RON PAUL booth was.
This was especially encouraging!
All in all, it was another successful event. We got some good information that the crowds down at the Art Gallery get bigger in the later afternoon, so our next one will likely be in the 3-7 time frame.
I look forward to our next event
Chris

I'm from Victoria BC and I hope Ron Paul is elected President.
I have spent a lot of time watching his interviews and debates and he is the only candidate who has a shred of sincerity and true concern for people. He also understands economics and understands the psychology of a foreign policy that ultimately keeps US citizens safer without them having to give up civil liberties and freedoms.
GO RON PAUL!

Great to see your video showing the booth downtown. Canadian media has not been doing allot of homework on this campaign although the editors at the post seem to be watching at a distance. I am in parksville and have been following the good Dr. for the past 6 years thanks to his work on monetary policy. This is the most important election that I have ever witnessed and hopefully we are waking people to the need to take back their country and their freedom!
Thanks for making this site available.
